At VISION 2024, we visited the Videology booth where we spoke with their Global Sales Manager Marc van den Heuvel. Marc guided us through their range of camera solutions.
Videology are a developer and manufacturer of custom video solutions. They have produced a series of board level cameras for applications such as environmental, medical, and aerospace inspection, of which we saw several examples while at VISION. They also presented their range of LVDS and EX-SDI Zoom blocks, which offer a versatile range of models at a variety of resolutions.
Marc then showed us their latest development, the SCAiLX Edge AI platform. SCAiLX boasts a powerful AI engine for image and video analytics, allowing users to add Edge AI capabilities to their camera solutions. The solution is compact and flexible, making it an ideal platform to build and run AI inference models. Marc showed us a global shutter MIPI camera, attached to an SoM board. which can be the host of an AI edge solution.
