LUCID Vision Labs, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of industrial vision cameras, has announced the production of its new
5.0 MP, 8.1 MP and 12.3 MP Phoenix GigE Vision camera models.
LUCID Vision Labs, Inc. designs and manufactures machine vision cameras and components, including GigE Vision cameras that are suited for a wide range of industries and applications such as factory automation, medical, life sciences and logistics. The company was founded in January 2017 and is located in Richmond, BC, Canada with local offices in Germany, Japan, China and Taiwan.
Featuring Sony’s 4th generation Pregius S image sensors, the new Phoenix models provide high sensitivity, low noise, and dynamic range for image quality in a compact camera. The 5.0 MP Phoenix camera features the IMX568 global shutter CMOS sensor and runs at 22 frames per second. The higher resolution 8.1 MP and 12.3 MP Phoenix models feature the IMX566 and IMX565 global shutter CMOS sensors, running at 13.8 and 9.0 fps, respectively. The Phoenix GigE PoE camera module has an ultra-compact form factor, either 24x24mm or 28x28mm, and is designed for easy OEM integration. It further offers flexibility with multiple lens mounts, body orientations, and Ethernet interface options.
“By adding the latest 4th generation Sony Pregius S sensors to our Phoenix camera family, we now offer an even larger selection of image sensors ranging from 0.4 MP to 20 MP”, said Rod Barman, Founder and President of LUCID Vision Labs, Inc. “The Phoenix camera has gained wide popularity with OEM applications due to its small form factor and unique transformable design that can be easily configured for the ultimate custom fit”.
All LUCID cameras conform to the GigE Vision 2.0 and GenICam3 standards and are supported by LUCID’s own Arena software development kit. The Arena SDK provides customers with easy access to the latest industry standards and software technology. The SDK supports Windows, Linux 64bit and Linux ARM operating systems, and C, C++, C# and Python programming languages.
The new Phoenix PHX051S, PHX081S and PHX124S cameras are now in production and available for order.
