At Automate 2024, we were fortunate enough to visit FairCom’s booth, which offered a fun and unique approach to networking.
The database technology company are demonstrating their Edge product, which takes the data generated by a factory’s equipment and stores it in their database. This data is then transformed to allow end users to use it in whatever way they require. FairCom are also displaying a variety of sensors, utilised in devices from the likes of Siemens and Allen Bradley.
What makes their booth particularly interesting is the extra activities. Their Director of Marketing Gary Arnold said, “We like to have a lot of fun, so we’ve got Connect Four and Jenga, plus we’re giving away some giant Lego sets!”
Automate has been a great experience for FairCom, who attended the Detroit show last year too. While at the show, they have met plenty of controls engineers, factory floor managers, and workers from manufacturing plants. However, anyone who needs data will surely benefit from a visit to their booth.
FairCom has been in business for 45 years, and has established a presence globally. Their headquarters is in Columbia, Missouri, but they also have offices in Salt Lake, Italy and Brazil.
