TriEye has entered into a collaboration with Toshiba Teli to commercialise a SWIR camera for industrial-related processes and applications.
Founded in 2017, TriEye is a creator of CMOS-based Short-Wave Infrared (SWIR) sensing solutions. Based on advanced academic research, TriEye’s proprietary technology enables high-resolution image data and depth perception in all weather and lighting conditions. Toshiba Teli is an imaging company specializing in the design, manufacture and sale of industrial cameras and surveillance, as well as the provision of an image-based system solution.

Together, TriEye and Toshiba Teli have built an industrial oriented CMOS-based HD SWIR camera. The new integration will leverage TriEye’s SWIR sensing technology to provide vision systems with an additional layer of information, with the partnership designed to make their solution available globally to a range of verticals.
TriEye’s technology enhances machine vision capabilities and assists in the detection of visible and invisible malfunctions. Leveraging this solution will provide Toshiba’s customers with information such as material sensing and quality control.

TriEye’s Raven sensor was recently named a top innovation by InVISION and the company has previously collaborated with Hitachi Astemo, Porsche, Continental Engineering, Trimble and DENSO. TriEye also recently announced a capital acquisition in funding to support their product commercialization and global expansion.
