Smart Vision Lights (SVL) has continued to expand its presence in machine vision through its collaborations with Teledyne FLIR on its Forge ecosystem, and its recent partnerships worldwide.

The LED lighting giants have produced a series of ring lights, including the RMX140 Mini Ring Light, which is engineered for radial and bright field applications. Their selection of washdown lighting solutions, with options of IP67 and higher, is compatible with Teledyne FLIR’s Forge series. Customers can benefit from a much simpler installation process, knowing that SVL’s lights are designed to be seamlessly integrated for Teledyne FLIR’s Forge ecosystem.

While at Automate, SVL’s Director of Training and Technical Solutions, Steve Kinney, said “We’re proud to be working with them and be part of this industry. It’s all about working together.”

Meanwhile, SVL has also launched a partnership with Leimac, a key player in the Asian market which specializes in precision machine vision solutions for factory automation. The partnership began towards the end of last year and greatly benefits both companies, with SVL offering large-scale warehousing solutions, while Leimac offers smaller solutions.

Steve Kinney added:

“There’s good synergy between the product lines because they’re doing things we’re not, and vice versa. They’re strong in Asia where we’re not, while they need representation in North America. We’re all excited and our customers going to start seeing us offer solutions out of both companies.”
