Prodrive Technologies announces the extension of the Sonic TDI line scan camera series with models featuring enhanced DUV sensitivity.
This DUV version utilizes a BSI sensor to achieve high quantum efficiency across a broad spectral range, peaking at over 70% in the VIS spectrum. Additionally, the UV-optimized AR coating boosts QE to over 50% at 266nm.
This cutting-edge camera, the sonic 9K608-DUV, is now available off-the-shelf and will be showcased at VISION 2024 (booth# 10C57, Stuttgart, Germany, 8th – 10th of October)
The Sonic camera platform sets a new standard in TDI imaging, offering speeds of up to 1MHz with resolutions ranging from 8k to 16k pixels. With its advanced BSI sensor technology and 256 TDI stages, it ensures faster image acquisition even in challenging light conditions.
The camera features an optical CLHS interface for reliable data transmission over long distances via thin optical fibers. When paired with the Apollo series frame grabber, the Sonic camera provides an end-to-end solution for optical inspection.
