Neurocle Introduces AI Vision Inspection Solution at Automatica

Neurocle successfully concluded its participation at automatica, held in Munich, Germany from the 27th to the 30th of June.

Neurocle, which is currently expanding its active global business in a total of 15 countries in Asia and Europe, announced that it focused on acquiring new clients at this event. Automatica is a biennial exhibition held in Munich, Germany, and it is the largest trade fair in Europe for factory automation and robotics solutions. A total of 600 companies from 100 countries participated in the event, and about 50,000 visitors visited.

Prior to the exhibition, Neurocle’s Sooyeon Choo provides us with a preview of what to expect, discussing the range of AI deep learning vision inspection software which Neurocle would display at Automatica, known as Neuro-T & Neuro-R. Neuro-T serves as a deep learning model trainer, enabling users to design deep learning projects, perform image data preprocessing, generate, and evaluate deep learning models. Neuro-T incorporates Neurocle’s core technology, the ‘Auto Deep Learning Algorithm,’ which automatically finds the optimal deep learning model structure and training parameters to generate high-performance models. This feature allows users to expect excellent inspection accuracy and convenience.

On the other hand, Neuro-R is a runtime API that allows real-time application of deep learning models generated by Neuro-T to manufacturing sites. It ensures optimal inference speed even in fast processing time-critical environments, and it supports C++, C#, and Python, allowing integration with target devices and systems using the preferred development language. Neurocle provided intuitive demonstrations showcasing the practical application of AI vision inspection solutions in manufacturing environments. One notable demo received significant attention from the audience, as it showcased real-time detection of subtle and irregular defects on secondary batteries and automotive components with an average accuracy of 98%.

Furthermore, Neurocle took the stage as a speaker at the ‘Vision Expert Huddles’ held during the exhibition, presenting a new paradigm in the machine vision industry. In this seminar, Neurocle delved into effective approaches for conducting AI deep learning-based vision inspection, which has recently gained attention in the manufacturing industry. While AI deep learning vision inspection is presented as a groundbreaking alternative overcoming the limitations of traditional vision inspection, achieving high inspection accuracy requires significant resource investment. In response, Neurocle introduced its AI deep learning vision inspection solution and successful case studies that maximize efficiency with minimal resource allocation.

Neurocle’s CEO Hongsuk Lee, who we interviewed at Automatica, said:

“As the largest automation exhibition in Europe, we had a diverse range of customers and partners from various industries visiting our booth. Among them, we received numerous feedback from those who adopted other deep learning solutions but suffered significant losses due to low inspection performance compared to the resources invested.

“We are confident that Neurocle’s AI vision inspection solution, recognized for its accredited technical expertise and competitive pricing in the global machine vision industry, will be a groundbreaking alternative for them.”

On another note, Neurocle has been honoured with the prestigious “2023 Innovators Awards” in the machine vision industry for three consecutive years. Neurocle received recognition for its uniqueness, innovativeness, and impact on users and ecosystems of its products and technologies.
