While in attendance at VISION 2024 in Messe Stuttgart, we visited the MVTec booth. There, we caught up with MVTec’s Marketing of Complex Software & Moderator of Events, Markus Setzer, who gave us a tour of the booth and explained some of his company’s most successful solutions.
MVTec presented three different products, and around eight demonstrations at VISION, which Markus guided us through. The first was their HALCON software, which many of our readers will undoubtedly recognise. As HALCON is constantly being improved, MVTec made sure to present the latest version of this software and show how the updated version has provided a further boost to its users.
The latest version of HALCON will launch on November 20th, 2024, and promises to deliver significant improvements in the way of more advanced deep learning algorithms.
MVTec also recently launched their latest version of the MERLIC software, which they presented at VISION. The demonstration showed how MERLIC can be integrated in the Siemens Industrial Edge Ecosystem, and in which application areas it can be implemented.
Lastly, Markus showed us demonstrations aimed at the semiconductor industry and a quality inspection demonstration for the food and beverage industry.
