MVPRO 28 | Innovate: A VISION Special | October 2022

by | Sep 14, 2022

Welcome to the special VISION edition of the MVPro Magazine series. Ahead of the much-anticipated three-day exhibition in Stuttgart, we at MVPro have banded together to produce a digital and print magazine that is jam-packed with exclusive interviews, as well as the latest news in the machine vision and image processing industries.

As this is a VISION special, we are excited to bring you an interview with Florian Niethammer, the Head of Trade Fairs & Events at Messe Stuttgart! Florian discusses his hopes and expectations for VISION 2022.

Speaking of VISION, we have a range of exclusive interviews with some of the event’s top exhibitors. From AMD to Zebra, they give us a run-down of their latest products, their thoughts on VISION and where to find them at the event. Basler, Teledyne and Photoneo also provide us with a sneak peek at some of their latest products.

Covid-19 has had significant effects on our personal and professional lives. We wanted to find out how the industry adapted and transformed during the pandemic so we asked colleagues at several machine vision companies for their comments and insights.

LMI Technologies continues to innovate by introducing the Gocator®2600 Series, offering 4K+ resolution laser profiling. Euresys’ Open eVision Libraries are utilised by Wielandts UPMT to introduce ‘Vision-in-the-loop’, shortening the control-command cycle of their automated production facility.

Meanwhile, Heriot-Watt University has developed a new technique that dramatically slashes the time it takes to manufacture fibre-optic medical devices, while the board of German Water is bolstered by vehicle giants, Mitsubishi Electric.

I would like to extend my gratitude to everyone who took part in these exclusive interviews. Thank you for giving us your time to make this VISION-special magazine a must-read edition.

If you would also like to partake in similar interviews, or if you have any press releases you’d like to see published on our website or in our magazines, do not hesitate to contact me at matt.williams@mvpromedia.com. I look forward to hearing from you!

We hope you enjoy this special VISION magazine and look forward to meeting you in Stuttgart! We have our own stand at 10G90, so be sure to pay us a visit.
