Performing vision inspection of flat panel displays, solar panels, printed circuit boards, and semiconductors requires cameras featuring a combination of large pixel structures and extremely high resolution. To meet this growing market need, SVS-Vistek offers its shr411 industrial area scan cameras that merge a Sony 151-megapixel sensor equating to 14192 x 10640 resolution with a 3.76µm x 3.76µm square pixel array.
SVS-Vistek shr411 cameras enable improved detection of production defects, increasing manufacturing efficiency and delivering higher throughput with less waste.
Available in a choice of CoaXPress or 10GigE interfaces, all four of the mono and colour cameras that make up the shr411 family leverage the Sony 3rd Generation Pregius IMX-411 CMOS sensor with tap balancing and user-defined fixed pattern noise reduction. When managed by either interface, the cameras transfer data at a rate of 6.1 frames per second (FPS) at full resolution. Besides industrial inspection, the high-resolution Sony sensor makes the shr411 cameras equally well-suited for border security, wide area surveillance, cinematography, sports and entertainment, unmanned vehicles, aerial monitoring, and city mapping.
Adding to the camera’s value and functionality is a feature set highlighted by 512 MB internal SDRAM memory, four integrated LED controllers for direct lighting control, readout control, binning, look-up tables, and automatic or manual white balance in the two color camera models.
The SVS-Vistek shr411 housing is precision engineered so that heat generated by its electronics and sensor is symmetrically discharged or controlled through an external fan. The metal IP30-rated protective housing measures a mere 80 x 80 x 63 mm for deployment in space-limited applications. It also features a large M72 mount that can be adapted to virtually any lens.
