Luxonis Raises $14 Million to Advance AI Vision for Industrial Automation

Luxonis OAK AI vision camera integrated into a robotic automation system following the company's $14 million Series A funding announcement.

Luxonis has secured $14 million in Series A funding to accelerate the development of its AI-powered vision platform for robotics and industrial automation. The round was led by Denali Growth Partners, with participation from Taiwania Capital.

The funding will support the expansion of Luxonis’ commercial operations, accelerate its product roadmap and increase production of its OAK camera platform, which combines embedded AI processing with machine vision hardware for robotics, automation and edge AI applications.

Founded in 2019, Luxonis is best known for its OAK embedded vision cameras and the open-source DepthAI software platform. The company says its SDK has now surpassed 6 million downloads, with its technology used across robotics, industrial automation and edge AI applications.

Luxonis says the investment will also help advance its OAK4 platform, enabling developers to build and deploy more capable vision systems for physical AI applications. The company’s open-source DepthAI software ecosystem remains a key part of its strategy, allowing users to develop and scale machine vision applications across a wide range of industries.

The announcement reflects continued investor interest in companies developing the perception technologies that underpin autonomous robots and intelligent industrial systems. As manufacturers increasingly adopt AI-driven automation, embedded vision platforms capable of processing data at the edge are becoming an important part of next-generation production environments.
