FRAMOS has appointed Dr. Frederik Schönebeck as Co-CEO alongside Dr. Andreas Franz, introducing a new leadership structure as the company accelerates its transition towards system-ready embedded vision solutions.
Dr. Schönebeck, who will continue to lead Product & Technology, has played a key role in the development of FRAMOS’ embedded vision portfolio. In his expanded role, he will focus on advancing integrated vision systems that combine optics, image sensors, processing and software into scalable industrial solutions.
Dr. Andreas Franz will continue to oversee the company’s operational and supply chain strategy, supporting the reliable manufacture and deployment of embedded vision systems for global markets. The new Co-CEO structure reflects FRAMOS’ strategic shift from a component supplier to a provider of integrated embedded vision solutions.
Alongside the leadership changes, FRAMOS has strengthened its executive team with new vice president appointments across operations, people and organisation, and sales and marketing to support the company’s continued growth.
The announcement follows FRAMOS’ recent acquisition of EMAC Inc., further reinforcing the company’s focus on expanding its engineering capabilities and strengthening its position within the embedded vision market.
