Exxelia has introduced a new generation of surface-mount high-voltage mica capacitors, designed to combine pulse handling and filtering capabilities within a compact SMD package.
The CM-HVLP series is based on reconstituted mica technology, offering stable electrical performance in high-voltage environments while supporting miniaturisation and simplified integration. By combining multiple functions into a single component, the capacitors are intended to help reduce system complexity in space-constrained designs.
The new devices are positioned for use in applications requiring both reliability and compact form factors, including power electronics and advanced embedded systems.
While not specific to imaging hardware, components such as these play a supporting role in machine vision systems, particularly as designs move toward higher power density and more compact, edge-based architectures where stable power delivery and integration efficiency are critical.
