While at VISION 2024, we stopped by Edmund Optics booth and spoke to Dr Boris Lange. Boris manages Edmund Optics’ (EO) Imaging business and business development.
Edmund Optics presented a range of solutions at VISION, including a demonstration for their SWIR region. Boris also showed us their new microscopy product, and their acquarium which featured a waterproof lens.
Boris ended by showing his personal highlight from their booth, the award-winning UAV series of fixed focal length lenses, designed for mounting on autonomous vehicles and drones. They are designed with a low Ground Separation Distance (GSD) to enable accurate survey results, and offer 16mm, 25mm, and 35mm focal length options. These lenses are ideal for Drone Mapping and Surveying, Aerial Imaging, and Photogrammetry applications.
