Delta, a global leader in power and thermal management solutions, is participating in the 2022 Light + Building exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany, from the 2nd-6th of October.

Delta’s Building Automation Business Group will showcase its Lighting Solutions with a full range of robust industrial lighting products for harsh environments, smart street lighting, fishing light, and ATEX products.

Delta will also proudly demonstrate its state-of-the-art U+ Care222 disinfection products series and integrated indoor air quality monitoring systems, which set new standards for building efficiency and occupant health. Its smart building management solutions will also be available on-site, which have been designed to facilitate low-carbon, energy-efficient buildings for the net-zero future.

“Delta’s Building Automation Business is an established provider of building solutions. In addition to offering industrial lighting with excellent performance and energy-saving features, we also offer professional commercial lighting from Amerlux and networked building control solutions from Loytec,” stated Bill Lo, General Manager of Delta’s Building Automation Business Group. “Customers can also choose solutions from Delta Controls, the digital security brand of Vivotek, as well as cloud-based image monitoring services from March Networks. The availability of these respected brands through Delta’s Building Automation Business Group provides our customers with the flexibility and scope they need to meet their building’s energy and health objectives.”

Highly efficient and robust lighting for harsh environments
Delta’s lighting solutions are consistently recognised by EMEA customers for their reliability, quality and environmentally friendly design. Based on Delta’s world-class power management technology and combining professional and attractive designs, Delta’s industrial lighting solutions are suited for applications such as parking lots, warehouses, production lines, and factories. The Staccato high-bay light series – launched earlier this year – is made from carefully selected ceramic packaged LEDs with high thermal conductivity and aluminium alloy substrates with excellent thermal conductivity. Combined with the intelligent heat dissipation design of the fixture’s body, the Staccato series has been engineered to operate effectively even under extreme ambient temperatures of 90 degrees Celsius. This makes it suitable for use in intense heat areas, such as the blast furnace smelting areas of steel plants.

Healthy buildings

Delta’s state-of-the-art U+ Far-UVC disinfection device, the Care222® series, is developed to keep people and buildings safe. Ideal for purifying air and surfaces, the Care222® series has a significant bacteriostatic effect against infection viruses such as Covid-19. Research shows Far-UVC 222nm destroys the DNA and protein structure of viruses and bacteria being 99% effective. It is absorbed by the stratum corneum of the skin, so it will not reach the DNA of human cells. Therefore it is safe for the human body and can be used in environments ranging from hospitals to banks, factories, store entrances/exits, waiting rooms or elevators.

Seamless building management and control
In the building management and control exhibition area, visitors can experience LOYTEC’s L-PAD7, which combines control, sensing and panel functions, as well as Delta Controls Inc.’s O3 Edge, which combines control and all-in-one smart sensing functions. These flexible and scalable building control management solutions demonstrate Delta’s cutting-edge innovation in the field of building automation solutions.

Delta welcomes visitors to experience the leading Industrial Lighting and Building Automation Solutions in the 2022 Light + Building exhibition at Hall 4.1, Booth H21 on 2-6 October.
