Avantra showcases AI Innovation and automation leadership at SAP Sapphire Orlando and Barcelona

Avantra was a prominent participant at the recent SAP Sapphire events held in Orlando and Barcelona. The company unveiled its latest AI capabilities and highlighted its pivotal role in enabling organizations to transition from manual operations to advanced automation.

At SAP Sapphire Orlando, Avantra were joined by their customer The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, which showcased its journey towards advanced automation with Avantra, illustrating significant reductions in manual efforts and substantial operational efficiencies. Emily Wahl, VP of IT Infrastructure Operations & Services at The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, joined John Appleby to discuss the strategic decisions that drove their journey towards AIOps.

“The partnership with Avantra demonstrates our mutual dedication to innovation and excellence. Our strategic decisions have not only driven our digital transformation but also established a new standard for industry leading practices”, said Emily Wahl. “The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company achieved a remarkable 93% reduction in manual efforts, resulting in significant cost savings and positioning the company for future growth”.

Joining Avantra at SAP Sapphire Barcelona, Ross McGuire, Senior Director, SAP Cloud Transformation at Radisson Hotel Group, and James Appleby, Chairman at Avantra, engaged in a prominent conversation about Radisson’s extreme journey to automation with Avantra. Upon joining Radisson, Ross faced operational challenges including costly system downtime, worsened by misconfigurations and reactive maintenance.

“Radisson Hotel Group has introduced a transformative blueprint shifting Radisson from manual operations to advanced automation”, said Ross McGuire. “Leveraging the Avantra AIOps platform, Radisson initiated a profound operational revolution, achieving peak efficiency. This pivotal transition saved Radisson over €400K annually, catalyzing an ambitious SAP landscape re-engineering program.”     

Avantra’s AIOps platform brought a crucial shift towards proactive management, enabling real-time monitoring of 57 SAP systems and 150 servers. This transformation stabilized operations, drove automation, and streamlined management, resulting in significant annual savings. 

The Sapphire events highlighted Avantra’s leadership in leveraging automation and AI for optimizing SAP environments. In their customer speaking sessions, Avantra emphasized the transformative potential of RISE with SAP in simplifying cloud journeys and enhancing innovation and scalability for customers. Their advanced automation solutions complement RISE with SAP by ensuring seamless operations and maximizing cloud adoption benefits.

Discussions also explored potential developments in Cloud ALM and partnerships with AWS and NVIDIA.
