Innovative cross-sector automation solutions now
COBURG. The renowned machine tool manufacturer LASCO Umformtechnik (Coburg) exhibits at AUTOMATICA 2018 in Munich from 19 -22 June for the first time. In hall B6/stand 514, the enterprise will show possibilities of tailoring intelligent automation and robotics solutions to the specific demands of industrial users individually.
With the debut at the exhibition, LASCO’s know-how in automation solutions – well-known among the solid metal and sheet metal forming industries world-wide – is provided cross-sectorally. The presentation will focus on “virtual commissioning” of complex robot applications.
The Franconian machine tool manufacturer has a staff of about 500 in Germany, the USA, China and Russia and looks back on more than 40 years‘ experience in the design and realization of automation solutions. In this time, it automated over 500 production lines. Currently, around 400 industrial robots used world-wide were upgraded to robot systems for forging including process-specific LASCO gripping technology.
LASCO has been producing machine tools for more than 150 years, has numerous patents and realized the first fully automatic forging line, in which synchronously operating industrial robots replace the blacksmith.
