The conference, organised by the European Machine Vision Association, opens its doors on 24-25 October and features an array of international top speakers who will present the latest embedded vision trends and give an insight into where technology is heading.
Embedded VISION Europe is uniquely placed as it is the only conference on the continent to focus exclusively on this disruptive technology with the purpose of showing the capability of hardware and software platforms; presenting applications and markets for embedded vision and will creating a platform for the exchange of information.
This year’s keynote speaker is David Austin, Senior Principal Engineer at Intel Corp., who will give insights to flexible and practical AI for industrial deployment in his keynote at the second Embedded Vision Europe conference.
Other speakers that will cover the entire focus of the technical elements of embedded vision, its applications and the hardware now available on the market include:
- Andrea Dunbar, Head of Embedded Vision Systems at CSEM whose talk is ‘Autonomous data-logger with ULP imager’. Jonathan Hou, Chief Technology Officer at Pleora who will discuss ‘Embedded Learning and the Evolution of Machine Vision’.
- Michael Engel, President at Vision Components, who developed the first intelligent camera more than 20 years. A true pioneer in machine vision and Imaging, he will present ‘MIPI Cameras: New Standard for Embedded Vision’.
- Gion-Pitschen Gross, Product Manager at Allied Vision with responsibility for the new Alvium Camera Series which bridges the gap between machine and embedded vision. His talk is “How to set up an embedded system for industrial embedded vision – Requirements, components, and solutions”.
