Allied Vision Launches Goldeye Pro Series: Next-Generation 5GigE SWIR Cameras

Allied Vision Goldeye Pro

Allied Vision has expanded its short-wave infrared (SWIR) portfolio with the introduction of the Goldeye Pro series, a new line of industrial cameras built to deliver high-throughput, precision imaging. Equipped with Sony’s IMX992 and IMX993 SenSWIR sensors and a 5GigE interface, the series is engineered to push the limits of SWIR performance for industrial, scientific, and medical applications.

The first two models in the series – the Goldeye Pro G5-530 SWIR TEC1 and the Goldeye Pro G5-320 VSWIR TEC1 – combine fast data transfer with advanced thermo-electric cooling (TEC1) for stable and reproducible image quality across the 400–1,700nm spectrum.

Optimized for Precision and Reliability

With sensor temperature stabilization, the Goldeye Pro ensures consistent performance at high frame rates, while integrated image correction features – including dark current suppression, non-uniformity correction, and defect pixel correction – enhance accuracy. Users can also benefit from:

  • 12- and 10-bit sensor readout modes for maximum dynamic range
  • Region of Interest (ROI) control for faster frame rates and optimized bandwidth
  • Digital binning and gain control to boost sensitivity
  • Look-up tables (LUTs) to improve contrast
  • Multiple user-set configurations for quick setup

The G5-530 model provides up to 5.3 MP resolution at 115 fps, while the G5-320 offers 3.2 MP resolution at 159 fps – both with a 3.45 μm pixel size and efficient ΔT=30K cooling.

Award-Winning Innovation

The Goldeye Pro has already earned recognition in the industry, securing the VSD China Innovators Award in Bronze, underscoring Allied Vision’s commitment to advancing SWIR imaging.

“The Goldeye Pro series embodies our customer-focused approach, delivering outstanding image quality for even the most demanding applications,” said Jens Hashagen, Senior Product Segment Manager at Allied Vision. “This recognition highlights our dedication to innovation and solving real-world challenges in SWIR imaging.”
