Then Rachel Levy-Sarfin carries on her excellent series on women in machine vision with Gloria Putnam. Gloria has had an incredible career to date and is a leading voice in the industry. I close out this months issue with a look at that dreaded c word. Christmas. Actually a lot of the festive season and where Machine Vision impacts and influences it. From firework displays top shopper behaviour patterns. I really do believe Machine Vision impacts daily life a lot more than people realise!
With in the magazine I am also delighted to bring to you two key industry stories from SPECIM and Zebra. Specim, using hyperspectral imaging to tackle hidden plastic in mincemeat production.
