Hello and welcome to the next issue of MV Pro magazine. Inspire.
I have titled it like this because in this months issue we have really picked up on the world of innovation leading to consolidation with Mark’s latest article. Rachel then continues her look at Women in Machine Vision with not only Dr Li, the Godmother of AI but, Dr Cucchiara, pioneering work in Machine Vision and finally a look to the future with Dr Ceylan who, even in the early stages of her career, is already winning awards for her work!
I am also delighted to share with you the excellent Hyperspectral Imagining and AI work from Specim which is producing 90% fewer issues in baby food.
As well as all the usual news from around our industry, new product releases and of course details about upcoming conference and trade shows, I have also taken a different look at Machine Vision in sport. It isn’t just VAR or Hawk-eye that we can all see on our screens, but the way our athletes are tracked and monitored to ensure optimum performance and fewer injuries.
