Chromasens allPIXA pro 4K linescan cameras greatly accelerate the singulation of packages, parcels, and envelopes for automated sorting, resulting in reduced operating costs and more dependable, consistent delivery without human error.

Scanning packages ranging in sizes from 2 to 200 mm (.078 to 7.87 inches) at conveyor speeds of one meter per second is possible with the allPIXA pro 4K camera thanks to its advanced trigger function. Also, when a Chromasens 35mm lens with a fixed f-stop is used, the camera’s 200 dpi resolution is maximized for improved mechanical stability. The clear plastic in envelope windows produces reflections and glare, which are eliminated by the interchangeable polarizer lens filter.

The allPIXA pro 4k is a trilinear CCD-based color linescan camera with a maximum line rate of 50.8 kHz at 4096 x 3 pixel resolution. The trilinear CCD sensor technology offers exceptional color accuracy and the ability to capture into the NIR waveband, offering an economical and flexible imaging solution equipped with the universal Camera Link interface. Compact and rugged, the allPIXA pro 4k features a metal housing and a wide operating temperature range of 0° to 60°C for industrial use.

To optimize the processing speed of the application and maximize throughput, it is recommended that the Chromasens Corona II LED illumination system be used. For fast integration, the allPIXA pro 4K camera comes with the Chromasens SDK and an intuitive graphical tool GCT for Microsoft® Windows® and Linux platforms.
